Located in London and reporting to the Group Head of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), this position is centered around global insurance and reinsurance operations. The primary objective is to assist in the continuous implementation of a robust risk management framework, fostering a strong risk management culture across the organization. Collaboration with international colleagues is essential as the organization expands its operations globally.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with various business units to ensure comprehensive identification and management of risks to the organization.
• Conduct control reviews and provide evidence to identify potential gaps or weaknesses in the control environment.
• Collect and analyze data to support the monitoring of risk appetite and tolerance.
• Administer the process for capturing loss events and near misses, investigating and documenting root causes, and implementing planned remedial actions.
• Contribute to the production of annual Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) reports.
• Generate risk reports for committees, including the Risk Committee and Board.
• Assist in providing training to foster a robust risk culture within the business.

Qualifications for the Role
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar risk management role.
• Familiarity with the insurance industry and relevant markets.
• Clear and effective communication skills with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating professionalism and approachability.
• Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy in work.
• Analytical skills, ability to meet tight deadlines, and prioritize a diverse workload.
• A related degree in business/finance is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Open, innovative, and inclusive mindset.
• Collaborative spirit with a results-oriented approach.
