Head of Exposure Management

Our client is a rapidly growing home and motor insurance provider looking to add a Head of Exposure Management to their Risk and Reserving team
 
The role will involve taking overall responsibility for the accumulation and catastrophe risk framework. This will involve collaborating with the pricing team to create risk models for natural perils, managing relationships with data providers and reinsurance brokers, and ensuring controlled and diversified growth, whilst considering historical events and forward-looking factors such as climate change. This individual will play a vital role in strategic risk management.
 
Day to day duties include natural catastrophe risk pricing, peril modelling, optimizing data quality, developing reinsurance risk profiles, establishing accumulation methodologies, presenting to the Board, and serving as the main point of contact for technical expertise, risk compliance, and ESG-related climate change matters.
