Our client, a prominent player in the London market, is looking for a Internal Audit Manager to support their Head of Internal Audit in delivering a robust internal audit strategy. This role offers the chance to influence the development of risk awareness culture and strengthen internal controls across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft the risk-based annual Group Internal Audit Plan, adapting to the group's risk profile.
  • Lead and complete planned internal audits independently, ensuring high standards are met.
  • Meet all deadlines as agreed, with proactive identification of potential slippage and implementation of remedial actions.
  • Provide inputs for regular reports to Audit Committees/Boards.
  • Build and manage effective stakeholder relationships at all levels.
  • Develop practical recommendations to enhance the control environment and follow up on implementation.
  • Prepare insightful, concise audit reports and close out audits efficiently.
  • Utilise IT tools to enhance audit process efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with business areas to provide innovative solutions that add value and protect corporate assets.
  • Uphold and promote the values of the organization, ensuring all work is conducted with the highest ethical and professional standards.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Strong business acumen and familiarity with their specific products and Group structure.
  • Extensive auditing experience at a senior level in the London market, with post-qualification experience (e.g., IIA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Degree level education or equivalent.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Proficient in risk and control concepts, with excellent report writing and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex audits independently with minimal supervision.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to work

Salary on offer is up £95k + bonus, comprehensive benefits and hybrid working.
