Market leading insurance company at the forefront of leveraging data-driven insights to shape the future of insurance are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join their growing team and contribute to exciting projects in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
 
You will play a pivotal role in translating complex data into actionable insights and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement machine learning and AI algorithms that drive business growth and enhance customer experiences. Your expertise will be instrumental in solving challenging problems, optimizing processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to process, clean, and transform data for analysis.
  • Research and experiment with cutting-edge AI techniques to enhance our products and services.
  • Build and maintain predictive models to optimize business processes.
  • Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI technologies.

 
Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of statistics and data analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and libraries.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of AI concepts and applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

 
Central London office with hybrid working environment (2-3 days per week on site). Salary £110-130k per annum, dependant on experience, plus excellent benefits scheme.
