My client is looking to recruit an Assistant Contracts Specialist to join their growing team that has recently recieved a lot of investment.
In this role you will help support the provision of contract drafting and technical expertise to there broking teams.
My client is looking for someone that is early on in their wordings career and has ideally at least 1 year experience. 
You will be joining a growing and supportive team and receive lots of training to help you excel in your career. 

Duties & Responsibilities - 

• Assisting in the preparation of bespoke treaty reinsurance contracts and endorsements covering a range of classes, mainly Property and Casualty business, but also including other lines of business, such as Life.
• Ensuring all contracts comply with the Contract Certainty Code of Practice and adhere, as far as possible, with the London Market Reform guidelines.
• Providing technical analysis of reinsurance contracts. Suggesting improvements, coverage enhancements and compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements.
• Assisting in the resolution of contract-related queries from clients, underwriters and internal stakeholders.
• Keeping up to date with the latest market developments and clauses and ensuring latest guidance is communicated to all relevant parties.
• Supporting process improvement and innovation.

Your Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications

• Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
• Ideally 1+ years’ relevant industry experience drafting, negotiating and/or reviewing reinsurance contracts.
• Advanced MS Word skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
