My client requires an Azure Services Manager with a software development and delivery background to work across multiple teams and projects.
responsible for overseeing and managing the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of Microsoft Azure cloud services within an organization, ensuring costs are within budget and continually optimised.
Main Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing Azure strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Managing the deployment and configuration of Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
Ensuring that the organization's Azure environment is secure, reliable, and optimized for performance.
Collaborating with development teams to migrate existing applications and data to Azure.
Monitoring Azure services to ensure that they are running smoothly and addressing any issues as they arise.
Managing Azure resources, including allocation, scaling, and cost optimization.
Developing and managing Azure budgets and tracking costs.
Skills and Experience:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, its services, features, and functionalities.
Experience deploying, managing and monitoring Azure solutions.
Knowledge of cloud computing architecture, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
Experience in defining and implementing Azure infrastructure and operations policies and procedures.
Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting for cloud services and expenses.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Azure services and infrastructure.
Experience in conducting root cause analysis and taking proactive measures to prevent and resolve issues.
Experience in managing Azure services in a large-scale, multi-tenant environment.
Project Management Experience: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, plan and execute projects, and ensure timely delivery of results.
Risk Management: Ability to assess and mitigate risk and ensure that the organization's Azure environment is secure and compliant with regulatory requirements.
