A leading London Market Insurer are looking for a Business Analyst to join the team for a 12 month FTC.
They are looking for someone who is familiar with business process change, governance related work, looking after UAT and experienced working with 3rd party technical vendor staff.
Responsibilities for the Business Analyst:
Leading or delivering assigned analysis activities, such as running workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements or conduct impact analysis (people, process, or technology).
Creating process maps or target operating models (as-is or to-be).
Defining and documenting business and functional requirements.
Continuously reviewing and assessing solution delivery to ensure it meets business requirements.
Supporting the project manager in validating test plans or creating user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, scripts, and approach.
Assisting with the implementation phase of the project by applying your knowledge to ensure successful solution deployment.
Prioritizing workload, managing conflicting demands, and ensuring agreed deadlines are met.
Engaging and communicating effectively with stakeholders, conducting analysis, and ensuring deliverables meet business needs.
Promoting the department, division, and company to maximize brand leverage and continuously improve the analysis function.
Essential skills for the Business Analyst:
Proactive self-starter capable of shaping and defining analysis work packages.
Ability to engage with business representatives at all levels and communicate professionally.
Skilled in leading and directing workshops with senior stakeholders.
Proficient in designing simple solutions for complex business problems.
Capable of constructively challenging stakeholders and influencing at all levels.
Ability to collaborate with IT teams, including third-party suppliers and strategic outsource partners.
Well-versed in Agile principles, artifacts, and ways of working.
Familiarity with mainstream IT technologies, architectures, and IT department structures.
Experience working closely with onshore and offshore IT developers/testers.
Familiarity with systems development life cycle (SDLC) and multi-vendor environments.
