Reporting to the Head of Compliance, The Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the wider Compliance Team in ensuring all group entities comply with all applicable regulation and legislation.
Role Responsibilities
Dealing with daily queries, ensuring they're dealt with appropriately and responded to in a prompt manner.
Assisting the Compliance Team to ensure that the company are compliant at all times with its internal procedures, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and other legislative requirements.
Control the group TOBA management process, onboarding new producing brokers, markets and other third parties.
Sustaining the company's producing broker and markets database.
Aiding the compliance team in the delivery of their quality monitoring framework.
Supporting the company to ensure that records are kept throughout the organisation to showcase compliance with FCA requirements and to facilitate regulatory reporting.
Coordinate and oversee the firm’s involvement in external coverholder audits including liaising with key stakeholders, internal coordination and tracking the completion of remedial actions to ensure they’re appropriately addressed.
Improving company process towards meeting financial crime obligations, including but not limited to, conducting sanctions, peps and adverse media searches.
Role Requirements
1-2 years relevant compliance experience within Insurance.
Strong understanding of the FCA’s and Lloyd’s rules and guidance particularly applicable to the (re)insurance sector.
A personable individual is key, willing to learn and comfortable working in a diverse, face paced environment.
High attention to detail.
Preferably educated to A-level standard or equivalent.
Good level of IT literacy particularly in Excel and Word.
Insurance or compliance qualifications e.g. CII, ICA would be a bonus.
