Delegated Authority Analyst

We are delighted to be working with a leading speciality and reinsurance company on their search for a Delegated Authority Analyst to join a growing function.

In this role, you will be joining a close-knit team with a high level of exposure to internal stakeholders; collaborating with underwriters to support the on boarding of new binders, leading meetings and presenting findings.

You will work with both new and renewal binders, lineslips and EPI data across a range of coverholders, including key MGA relationships.

Duties will include:

• Assist with pre-renewal due diligence updating documentation as required
• Ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of data entry into the system of record
• EPI tracking to expected and escalation for significant changes to pattern and co-ordinate and host the quarterly review meetings
• Manage all profit commission, no claims bonus, and final adjustments, with any discrepancies to be brought to the underwriter’s attention
• Ensure, maintain and be responsible for the entry and accuracy of data within the underwriting system of record where required

You will need to have a good level of knowledge of the binder process life cycle; including lineslips and bordereaux oversight. With the ability to work independently and be confident presenting findings and new ideas.

You will be encouraged to share ideas to develop and support process improvement and enhancements and be involved in projects outside of the day to day role.

There is also potential for you to develop and take on a more senior role within the team in a short space of time.
