ERM Actuary

Arthur are delighted to have partnered exclusively with a unique reinsurer within the London insurance market who are looking to hire an ERM Actuary to join its small risk management function.
 
With the business having a substantial market foot print, despite not being high in overall headcount, you with enjoy significant stakeholder interactions. Reporting into the Chief Risk Officer, role will include:
 

• Working with, and presenting to, internal stakeholders at all levels as well as gaining exposure to senior and executive stakeholders across regulators, government bodies and other businesses
• Taking on a lead for all quantitative risk management responsibilities across the business. Aligning yourself closely with the business’ actuarial function, this will include completing the annual internal model validation process and feeding directly into the ORSA report
• Broadening your exposure to all aspects of risk management, learning from others in the team to gain a fully rounded understanding of the business and market as a whole – working on the continued development of the company’s risk framework and conducting deep dive reviews
