Exposure Data Analyst

We have partnered with a Global Insurance provider on the search for an Exposure Data Analyst to join their Exposure Management Team. 

The primary objective of this role is to assist the Exposure Management Team through the collation of data sets, data cleansing, data manipulation, tracking changes and the reporting of exposures across multiple lines of business.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to identify issues within data. We are searching for an individual with a strong analytical and data management skill-set and a working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, programming skills in VBA, SQL, R, or Python would be an advantage.

Key responsibilities:

• Understand data availability and requirements to support the Exposure Management Team 
• Collaborate with the Underwriting team, IT, Risk Management, Claims and Actuarial teams on their requirements 
• Capture and improve data quality where possible
• Present exposure information in an accurate and visual format, developing skills in Power Bi 
• Demonstrate stakeholder management skills and communicate with external audiences and clients. 
• Review Catastrophe modelling outputs and validation of results provided.
