A reputable Lloyd's Syndicate is seeking a Financial Lines Claims Adjuster to join their market leading claims department based in the heart of the Lloyd’s Insurance market. In this role you will be handling claims arising out of my clients Professional and Financial Risks book of business, with a particular focus on Financial Institutions and Fintech claims.
Your Role:
Responsible for handling claims, including third party agreements (TPA) and service providers in line with the claim’s philosophy, reserving philosophy and Claims Handling Manual
Drive, facilitate and deliver a customer-focused approach to claims which is measurable through speed of service and open, honest and personable communications with all brokers and (re)insureds
Be collaborative by sharing best practice improvements with the other team members or claims teams
Provide commentary on relevant movements, highlighting significant notifications and claim trends
Maintain good working relationships with the claims team, underwriting team, actuarial team and outwards reinsurance team
Provide feedback on claims experiences, contract wordings, claims data or feedback for any renewal to the respective Claims Managers and underwriters
Contribute through your work to achieve KPI’s set in the Claims Business Plan and identify areas of improvement in the Team and provide proactive feedback to the Claims Managers
Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Proven experience handling FI/PI claims and an understanding of the London insurance market
Demonstrate strong written and spoken communication skills
Have good IT (Microsoft Office) skills, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
Possess strong independent organisational skills
