A globally renowned Insurance business have partnered with us on the search for a qualified accountant with extensive IFRS 17 knowledge and implementation experience to join their growing finance function on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager you will the IFRS 17 SME and will be play a pivotal role in the successful implementation and reporting of IFR 17.
Take the lead in IFRS17 reporting cycles, ensuring precision and adherence to timelines.
Navigate through Head Office reporting timetables and Group standards, fostering collaboration within the expansive AUL Finance team.
Operate seamlessly within financial processes and controls, upholding accuracy in reporting.
Ensure tasks align with documented processes and procedures, with an eye for proposing enhancements when needed. Keep process manuals up-to-date.
Provide in-depth analysis and insight into IFRS17 results, leveraging your expertise to enhance organizational understanding.
Tackle IFRS17 reporting issues and address queries from Head Office, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders.
Identify and spearhead improvements in IFRS17 reporting, contributing to automation, process enhancements, and control efficiency.
Engage actively in finance projects, advising on IFRS17 implications, and safeguarding the integrity of IFRS17 reporting.
You must be;
Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Experience of implementing IFRS 17 within another Insurance business
Strong experience of reporting under UK GAAP
Highly analytical and details orientated
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Thrive in a fast paced and evolving environment
