A London-based insurance firm with a global presence is looking for a non-contentious insurance lawyer to fill the position of Legal Counsel. You will need to have at least 3 years' experience.
Main responsibilities:
- Advise on day-to-day legal queries related to the business
- Assist and advise on non-claims, commercial disputes, regulatory matters etc..
- Review and negotiate (re)insurance-related documentation and commercial contracts
- Assist with ad hoc projects
Skills and Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with current practising certificate
- 3 years' experience within financial services or London (re)insurance market
- An understanding of the international insurance markets (desirable)
- Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
