We are working on a mixed actuarial position with a Lloyd's insurer, which is a rarity in this market! The position sits in a well-rounded team and will be involved in all actuarial functions whilst working closely with, and assisting, other internal teams such as underwriting, claims and catastrophe modelling. This role has been created due to ongoing and upcoming growth so this role will be involved in implementing new processes whilst improving the existing ones to keep up with market trends. The breadth of this role is honestly incredible, and would be the perfect opportunity for a student actuary who is feeling pigeonholed in their current role and wants to explore more areas and build their foundation of understanding within the industry.
Our client is flexible on backgrounds for this role but there are 3 things required to be suitable for this role:
- Prior general insurance experience
- Being a part / nearly qualified actuary
- Strong communication skills
Salary depends on experience for this role and you will be required to be in the office 2 - 3 days a week.
