Arthur have partnered with a leading Insurer for the hiring of a Risk Aggregation Analyst to work in the treaty team of their London office. 

You will be responsible for providing exposure data and modelled loss information for internal and external stakeholders, supporting the business in understanding it's risk profile and assisting in developing tools and analytical reporting for the risk aggregation function. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within the Catastrophe Modelling or Exposure Management teams of an insurance operations, with high 

Main Responsibilities:

• Support underwriters, actuaries, capital modellers, and risk managers with analytical assistance to ensure consistency in exposure modelling across the company.
• Provide accurate and timely support for pricing, analytics, management information, and reporting to relevant stakeholders such as underwriting. 
• Conduct necessary checks and escalate issues to ensure accuracy and quality of exposure data (internal and outsourced).
• Support wider risk aggregation projects. 
• Build and maintain relationships with key internal contacts and support relationships with software providers and brokers.
• Assist other members of the Risk Aggregation team as needed.

The ideal candidate will have: 

• University degree or equivalent education.
• Advanced IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, VBA, and preferably SQL.
• Strong numerical abilities.
• Thorough understanding of the (re)insurance industry.
• Effective communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in modelling specific business classes.
• Previous experience with formatting, importing, and modelling accounts in Risklink (RMS) is desirable.
