Senior Pricing Analyst: £40,000 - £55,000

A leading personal lines insurer is seeking a senior pricing analyst to join their pricing team. The Senior Pricing Analyst will be responsible for building, maintaining, and monitoring pricing models across all aspects of the insurance portfolio. The Pricing Analyst will report directly to the Head of Pricing. This role offers a larlgely remote working. 

The successful candidate will have a curious nature, be able to find the right tools to solve problems independently and show initiative and resourcefulness.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and monitor pricing models using Emblem and Radar
• Support model implementation, including testing, of agreed rate changes
• Recommend pricing strategies that best meet business objectives
• Contribute to the development of new product/customer propositions
• Work with a range of talented stakeholders within the business, as well as external partners

 
Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in personal lines pricing
• Modelling experience with Emblem/Radar (beneficial)
• Data experience with SAS/SQL/Python/R (beneficial)
• Good understanding of underwriting principles
• Good verbal and written communication skills
