The details

Posted:

Arthur have partnered exclusively on this Senior Risk Analytics Manager role with an exciting new Lloyd’s & London market brand to add to its newly created Risk Analytics function.

Having posted excellent results over the past 12 months, and with future growth plans in place, this Senior Risk Analytics Validation Manager will work with the function’s lead and an analyst on projects spanning the entire business, providing insights to support strategic decision making as well as delivering validation. The role’s initial focus will include:

  • Developing a new internal model validation framework focusing on automation to ensure future processes are streamlined, taking ownership from the current external provider
  • Supporting the core risk function from a quantitative viewpoint on a variety of risk management deep dive reviews, examples of which include emerging, reserving and underwriting risk
  • Working with stakeholders at all levels with exposure to provide risk management opinions on key strategic drivers like business planning, outwards reinsurance purchasing and M&A opportunities

Whilst prior risk management experience in a role such as this would be beneficial, it will be more important for you to be able to demonstrate the ability to produce high quality quantitative analytics and be able to clearly communicate the relevance of your findings to the business. Working within a growing business and in a new function, this role has significant scope to be moulded and shaped over time to align with your exact skill set and personal development plans.

So, if you are a quantitative risk management or actuarial professional wishing to work in a broad role where you can create new processes and directly influence strategic decision making, please get in touch for a confidential conversation or send your CV through the links below.
