We are delighted to be partnering exclusively with this rapidly expanding insurance start-up which focuses on the on mid-market/SME insurance industry in the UK, mainland Europe and North America.
Working with MGA partners and running their own MGA, this organisation is providing an alternative to the Lloyd's and wider commercial lines markets as a technology focused MGA platform. This organisation provides a platform and support for MGAs spanning a host of different areas of operation.
You will be at the forefront of pricing and portfolio management for a number of stakeholders, providing technical support as well as advice internally and externally to achieve the company's business plan. You will also perform reserve and other actionable analyses on the existing portfolios, as well as project loss ratios and performance analytics for new partners.
An interest in data and working with other teams such as IT, finance and data science are a key part of this role.
Ideally you will be a qualified actuary and have experience in pricing and/or reserving within commercial lines business. If this has been with SME or Mid-Market business, this would be advantageous but is not essential.
