Role: Assistant Company Secretary
Contract: Permanent
Location: London – Hybrid
Salary: £60K - £70K DOE
 
The Client and Role
Our client is one of the largest global insurance brokers with decades of success and year on year growth. This role demonstrates the right blend of board support as well as technical knowledge across governance. You will be joining an exciting and growing team giving you the opportunity to not only develop your board support skills but also work on exciting transactional projects.
 
Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide a full suite of company secretarial support to relevant boards and committees across multiple jurisdictions
  • Assist in the organization of board meetings, arranging meeting agendas, materials and production of minutes
  • Management of UK statutory filings and liaising with internal and external contacts in relation to the same for certain international filings
  • Maintaining Diligent Entities database and other company secretarial records
  • Drafting resolutions and other corporate documentation for UK and international groups
  • Providing support with internal projects and transactions
  • Supporting the Group Company Secretary

 
Key skills and experience we are looking for:

  • UK CoSec function experience, ideally within Insurance or Financial Services
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft (Word and Outlook) and Diligent Entities Board App and Database.
  • Experience with attending meetings and taking minutes
  • Good communications skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Good level of IT literacy, particularly in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Outstanding organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail. You must be able to plan and prioritise own workload to meeting deadlines
  • Either ICSA qualified or currently pursuing
