Assistant Underwriter

Arthur is exclusively partnering with a Global Insurer to hire an Assistant Underwriter.
This role will be part of their Property & Liability team, contributing to the team's business plan and collaborating with underwriters and other departments to achieve strategic goals.  Day to day you will:

• Obtain and underwrite Property and Liability renewals within your underwriting authority.
• Provide underwriting control and active support to a diverse range of clients.
• Offer comprehensive support to allocated clients throughout the entire policy lifecycle.
• Attend renewal and new business meetings with brokers and clients.
• Continue developing skills to provide technical knowledge and contribute to drafting policies and other documentation.
• Provide accurate information to the in-house processing team regarding all aspects of the policy.
• Engage actively in communication and involvement in claims matters.

We are seeking candidates with 2-3 years of experience in an underwriting team. Proficiency in Property insurance is necessary, and familiarity with Liability would be advantageous.
 
Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills are crucial for success in this role.
