The company: 
My client is a leading Lloyd's syndicate with a brilliant reputation in the market. Due to continuous success, they are seeking a skilled professional to join the team as an Aviation Underwriter.
Last year this syndicate got a big increase in stamp capacity, so the company is currently going through a lot of growth. 

Job Summary: 

• In this role, you will have the opportunity to underwrite the Aviation Account and accept risks on behalf of the syndicate, all while ensuring that underwriting and reinsurance administration is completed to the highest standard.
• As an Aviation Underwriter, you will be responsible for monitoring signings for cash-flow purposes and participating in reinsurance purchase.
• In addition, you will provide input to the Business Plan and the syndicate quarterly report.

What we are looking for: 

• To excel in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in business production, underwriting, relationship management, and analytical skills.
• You should also have an in-depth knowledge of underwriting and reinsurance, as well as an understanding of the aviation market, industry and people.
• Knowledge of the standards and rules of the regulatory bodies and those set out in the firm's standards documents is also required.
