Arthur are parntered with a leading underwriting company based in the heart of London, who are looking for an Azure Architect to join the team on an interim basis. As they embark on an exciting phase of growth and expansion, are seeking a dynamic and experienced Azure Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in scaling up their operations and leading the outsourcing of the infrastructure team.

As the Azure Architect you will be a key driver in shaping our cloud infrastructure strategy, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. This role is particularly critical as we are in the process of outsourcing the infrastructure team to enhance efficiency and focus on our core competencies.

Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Leadership:
   • Design and implement Azure-based solutions that meet the business and security requirements.
   • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with the company's goals.
2. Outsourcing Oversight:
   • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define outsourcing requirements.
   • Lead the outsourcing process for the infrastructure team, ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining operational excellence.
3. Technical Expertise:
   • Provide technical leadership and expertise in Azure services and solutions.
   • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
4. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
   • Collaborate with external vendors to ensure the successful delivery of outsourced services.
5. Documentation and Training:
   • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, processes, and procedures.
   • Provide training and support to internal teams to ensure effective use of Azure services.

To be successful in this role, you must have previously designed/instructed infrastructure outsourcing solutions, set objectives and measurables for the team members.
