Job Title: Business Analyst Pay: £700 per day INSIDE IR35 Contract length: 6 months
Arthur are delighted to be partnering with a leading General/Reinsurance company, they are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Data & Analytics Transformation team, which plays a pivotal role in the delivery of our Data Transformation initiatives. As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with the Group Chief Data Office, other group functions, and divisional data teams to plan, scope, and execute crucial programs
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis Support: Participate in program initiation and planning activities, including stakeholder workshops, business case development, stakeholder matrix creation, and RACI definition.
Program Planning: Contribute to program planning, ensuring meticulous preparation for activities such as analysis and requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, training, business readiness, and BAU handover.
High-Quality Documentation: Produce high-quality project documentation and elicit positive stakeholder feedback.
Execution: Provide business and data analysis, document precise business requirements with unambiguous acceptance criteria, and ensure traceability from requirements to solutions.
Change Impact Analysis: Identify and communicate change impact effectively, reporting concerns and collaborating on remediation strategies.
Business Readiness: Track and report on business readiness progress, facilitate UAT and training, and ensure requirements are clearly articulated.
Closure: Work with project teams to prepare BAU handover plans, support data attribute capture, and assist in completing project closure documentation, ensuring successful BAU handover and project benefits realization.
People and Customer Focus: Foster effective stakeholder relationships, advocate for the Group CDO function, and support the uplift of change disciplines across Chief Data Office.
Skills and Experience:
Extensive business analysis experience in global financial services (preferably Insurance), with a focus on technology and data governance delivery.
Experience with external technology providers, with hands-on knowledge of data management applications (a distinct advantage).
Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with extensive experience working in scrum teams.
Data Governance (DG): Managing data through standards, rules, and processes, including data management, quality, privacy, and security. Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and protection.
Data Quality (DQ): Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability through Data quality standards, Validation, and nverification processses Join us in this exciting role and be part of our journey to transform and optimize our data landscape.
Master Data Management (MDM): Rationalizing and harmonizing critical data elements to establish a "single source of truth" and eliminate data silos. Experience with Tibco is a plus but not mandatory.
