A well known London Market Insurer are looking for a Business Analyst to join the team. This role will work with the Business and IT Tech to optimally leverage existing investments, and also proactively identify and champion opportunities to further enable and streamline business process to enable technology benefits. In addition, you will help define priorities, activity and working closely with project management be responsible for project deliverables across all relevant workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Business and IT Tech to leverage existing investments and identify opportunities for streamlined business processes through technology enhancements.
Define priorities, activities, and collaborate closely with project management to ensure successful project deliverables.
Provide comprehensive business requirements based on an understanding of data needs, strategic direction, regulations, existing systems, and more.
Design, communicate, and develop work across the Data estate.
Work with senior leadership to enhance the current and future Data estate.
Develop feasibility studies to inform business decisions on progressing IT work.
Translate business requirements and service excellence needs into structured IT requests.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of using technology to support business strategy and implementation.
Ability to lead project delivery across analyst and developer teams.
Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
Proficiency in understanding data trends and supporting growing data insight expectations.
Exceptional attention to detail while working within tight timelines.
Capacity to handle and process large volumes of data.
Experience with MS SQL databases.
Effective people leadership skills, including communication, negotiation, and influence.
