Duration: 6 Months with a view to extent location: Fully Remote Industry: Insurance/Reinsurance Our Client: A leading insurer is implementing a new reinsurance system and seeks a skilled Business Analyst with a strong systems background to join their team on a contract basis.
Essential Skills:
Must have experience working on the implementation of insurance specific systems such as Policy Admin Systems (PAS), Claims Management, Actuarial (Pricing, Reserving or Capital) systems and so fourth.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering: Collect and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders.
Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis to identify issues and provide actionable recommendations.
System and Process Mapping: Develop and maintain system and process maps to support project initiatives.
Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage workstreams/projects, acting as a scrum master to ensure tasks are completed and blockers are addressed.
Communication Materials: Assist in the development and production of communication materials for project updates and stakeholder engagement.
Workshops and Meetings: Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and provide project updates.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
Progress Tracking: Support the project manager in tracking progress and reporting on project status.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
Insurance industry experience is essential
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in project management and business analysis tools.
