Capital Analyst: £45,000 – £85,000 Syndicate, City of London
We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Capital Analyst to join a well-established Lloyd’s syndicate.
The role will report into the Head of Capital and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support in the development and maintenence of the internal model.
Responsibilities:
Model development work to ensure the accuracy of the internal model.
Involvement in the primary validation of the internal model, including design and execution of validation testing.
Assist with the parameterisation of the internal model.
Ability to simply complex topics and communicate findings to colleagues and senior stakeholders.
Assist in the production of regulatory returns, including reporting to Lloyd’s and UK regulators.
Ensure internal model is complaint with the tests and standards of Solvency II.
From you they are looking:
Part/nearly/newly qualified actuarial analyst.
Actuarial capital modelling experience in general insurance.
Lloyd’s/London market experience would be desirable.
Knowledge of Solvency II would be beneficial.
