Catastrophe Modeller

Arthur have partnered with a Global Reinsurance Broker on the search for a Catastrophe Modeller to build out the new Catastrophe Analytics function. Within this position, you will be working within the existing analytics teams to serve broking teams and their clients across the UK and international regions within different lines of business. 

You will be responsible for: 

• Conducting data manipulations and reporting with a cat modelling focus
• Presenting to clients and colleagues
• Engaging in project work focused on developing bespoke catastrophe analytics solutions for clients
• Aiding with RfP Presentations
• Developing tools and processes to improve efficiency

The ideal candidate will have: 

• Experience of using at least 1 catastrophe model
• SQL knowledge (required) 
• Additional coding experience beneficial e.g Python or R 
• Experience within a broker is ideal
