Arthur are proud to be partnered with with an exceptional London syndicate as they look to expand their Ceded Reinsurance team.
The team are looking for an experienced reinsurance professional to join as a Ceded Re Purchaser, leading and supporting on reinsurance placements.
Key Responsibilities:
Successful implementation and design of ceded reinsurance contracts, predominantly focusing on Marine, Energy and Aviation business
Ad-hoc involvement in other lines of business as needed.
Ensuring placements drive portfolio optimisation and align with the group's risk management strategy.
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with Brokers and Reinsurers, acting as a central point of contact internally and externally for reinsurance queries.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Underwriting, Actuarial, Claims, Legal, Ceded Re Operations to provide optimal recommendations on strategic direction.
Skills & Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience with/in a Ceded Re function. The team is happy to speak with candidates from a Purchasing, Treaty Broking or Actuarial background.
Experience working with Marine, Energy and Aviation business or a keen interest in.
You must posses a deep understanding of reinsurance concepts, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
