Ceded Reinsurance Technician

Arthur are currently partnered with a leading specialty (re)insurer as they look to add a Reinsurance Technician to their dynamic and efficient Ceded Re team. This role will focus on providing holistic support to the Ceded Reinsurance function, owning the management process of the group's proportional and non-proportional contracts post-placement through to settlement.

preparation of financial bookings, account statements and various Regulatory Returns.
 
The role would see you:

• Monthly, quarterly and annual calculations of fac, XoL and QS premium and claims
• Monitor and assist with reinsurance recoveries
• Ensure all ceded claims are reported in line with contractual terms
• Supporting system migration whilst maintaining contract accuracy within RI system
• Monitoring aging debt
• Production of regulatory reports both internally and externally
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with external parties and act as a referral point for brokers and reinsurers

 
Role Requirements & Skills

• Demonstrated experience in ceded a reinsurance accounting/operations position
• Detail oriented
• Strong excel/access skills
• Good communication skills
