Arthur is delighted to be working with a top-tier global insurance and reinsurance firm as they seek to expand their London market claims division by hiring a Reinsurance Claims Adjuster/Analyst.
An exciting opportunity has emerged to join the business’ London claims team. The Reinsurance Claims Adjuster/Analyst will support in the adjustment/reviewing of Lloyd's, London, and international reinsurance claims within the Lloyd's Syndicate. Your Responsibilities:
Marine reinsurance claims experience is a must, while proficiency in Property, Casualty, Political Risk, and/or Aviation claims would be advantageous.
You will examine initial claim notifications, verifying coverage and conducting associated checks for both proportional and excess of loss contracts. Validate and ensure the appropriateness of reserves.
Manage electronic claims files and validate settlements within designated authority levels.
Develop a thorough understanding of Treaty Reinsurance (Cross Class)
Fostering relationships with brokers, legal representatives, and clients.
Internally collaborate with Underwriters and Reserving Actuaries.
Candidates should possess experience in reviewing and evaluating policy coverage for Reinsurance claims, along with complementary skill sets such as strong communication abilities with both internal and external stakeholders
Thorough understanding of the London market as a claims handler.
What You Need:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a reinsurance claims team, essentially to include knowledge of Marine Reinsurance Claims. Property, Casualty, Political Risk and Aviation classes desirable.
Excess of Loss required / Proportional Treaty a bonus.
Proficient in London Market Systems ECF 2 and IMR. Power BI knowledge would be a plus
Attitude and willingness to learn is key
Committed to DIP CII or ACII qualifications is desirable
