Join a global specialty lines (re)insurer who are one of the top 10 insurers in the Lloyd’s of London.
They are currently looking for a Claims adjuster to handle property and liability claims that exceed delegated authority.
You will be a key referral point and have the opportunity to develop key relationships across the business.
You will adjust claims within your authority level while delivering the highest level of customer service to stakeholders.
You will work closely with underwriters to help them build a portfolio in line with the business plan and understand the current status of existing binders.
You'll ensure delegated claims are managed in accordance with claims values by overseeing TPAs/Service Providers through regular reporting, reviewing large movements, peer reviews, file reviews and sharing best practices.
You will also instruct and oversee lawyers, adjusters, and experts from the agreed panel to achieve the best outcomes while controlling costs and reducing claims leakage.
In addition, a good knowledge of standard industry and office applications such as ECF, Excel, and Outlook is required.
