Here at Arthur, we are pleased to be partnered with a highly successful and rapidly growing Lloyds Broker who are looking to further grow and expand their London team by bringing on board a Claims Broker who will have a focus on North American Property & Casualty claims. 
 
You will be responsible for addressing the daily claims requirements of the business’s clients, including handling Property, Liability, and Transportation claims from the USA. This involves utilizing platforms such as ECF or broking/depositing claim files to Underwriters in the Lloyd’s or Company market as instructed. Additionally, you will provide complete claims technical support to the department.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage U.S. Property and Casualty claims
  • Facilitate claims file brokering to Lloyd's Underwriters, XCS, and Company Markets
  • Oversee claims files from initial advice to final settlement via ECF/Class
  • Escalate any issues with claims files to the manager in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with colleagues to exchange market intelligence and stay updated on current events
  • Provide prompt and accurate responses to client correspondence to expedite claims advice and settlement
  • Administer Claims Bordereaux onto ECF for agreement by Underwriters and XCS
  • Ensure wire transfers are made for settlement of claims on a monthly basis

What You Need:

  • Familiarity with the North American Property and Casualty Binding Authority business is advantageous, though not mandatory
  • Property Binding Authority experience is essential
  • Possess expertise in claims technical operations, including handling monthly Claims Bordereaux for the North American Property and Casualty Binding Authority business
  • Demonstrate proficiency in numerical, articulation, and analytical skills
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management proficiencies
  • Display excellent verbal and written communication aptitude
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Knowledgeable in the ECF/CLASS system
