I am currently working with a top quartile syndicate in the London insurance market who are looking to recruit an assistant Claims Manager for the Property book.
Within this position, you will be managing a portfolio of claims. This position offers exposure to mentorship of junior members of the tea
m with the opportunity to be seen as an empowering role model without full management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • To manage the claims process from start to end including documentation/production/strategic claims and estimating associated costs to minimise losses in a timely manner.
  • Identify trends and potential concerns across the portfolio and elevating to senior internal members when necessary to take appropriate action.
  • Close and regular contact between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sustain a working knowledge of business objectives with an overall understanding of strategies of marketing and underwriting to spot future opportunities for claims management.
  • Analyse case reserve adequacy and offer appropriate strategies to improve future claims handling to support TPA claims finalisation.
