Arthur is excited to be partnered with a market leading global insurer who are looking to grow their London Claims team by bringing on board a Claims Operations Assistant on a 12-Month FTC.
You will assist the Claims Operations and Claims team with all aspects of the Claims Operations function. Your role involves providing a high level of operational support to the Claims team to ensure it can deliver an exceptional standard of claims performance and service while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements. Your Responsibilities:
Support regular reporting tasks, including preparing international claims reporting packs and month-end reports. Additionally, produce the quarterly board pack for review by the Claims Operations Manager
Support in overseeing the outsourcing of claims administrative tasks to an offshore process provider
Conduct regular peer reviews of their work and promptly escalate any issues or concerns to the Claims Operations Manager. Address queries initially and refer them to a manager if necessary
Provide cover to the Claims Operations team in all aspects of claims month end sign off
Provide timely support to auditors (internal and external) and assist with evidence gathering when required
What You Need:
Good insurance knowledge with experience working in claims operations providing day to day technical support to a claims team
Experience of Lloyd’s insurance market and working extensively in ECF
Demonstrable understanding of claims handling
Experience of Lloyd’s CRS would be advantageous
Experience of Sequel Claims would be advantageous
Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – Pivot tables, vlookups, advanced formula a must
