An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Claims Oversight Manager to join a dynamic oversight team on a 6 month fixed term contract, supervising managing agents and driving claims performance across the market. This role is ideal for an experienced claims professional with strong strategic insight, governance expertise, and stakeholder management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor managing agents’ adherence to claims principles, promoting a ‘best in class’ approach
Identify and mitigate potential claims performance risks
Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and managing agents
Provide quality assurance and support thematic claims reviews
Analyse complex claims data to identify trends and critical risk areas
Contribute to business change projects and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Communicate insights clearly to multiple stakeholders and influence outcomes
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in claims oversight, delegated authority, or operational claims management
Strong relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills
Ability to analyse complex data and provide actionable insights
Knowledge of UK and international insurance markets, legal principles, and regulatory frameworks
Strategic thinker with excellent attention to detail and accountability for outcomes
