Claims Specialist - Energy & Property

Here at Arthur, we are pleased to be partnered with a market leading global insurance business who are looking to grow and expand by hiring an Energy & Property Claims Specialist to join their London Claims team.
 
This position will require you to manage Energy and Property claims within specified limits, ensuring fair treatment of policyholders while striving for optimal outcomes. You will collaborate with senior staff to develop a high-performing team, whilst delivering top-notch claims experiences aligned with company guidelines. Furthermore, you will act as a subject matter expert for all Energy and Property claims, monitoring and settling claims promptly while maintaining cost control. Supporting strategic objectives and business plan initiatives, including managing change and improving claims processes.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for handling Energy and Property claims and ensuring that all claims are promptly and fairly processed from FNOL to settlement within your authority limit
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Energy and Property claims, providing technical guidance to team members
• Ensure accuracy and currency of claims data across all relevant systems
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Working with the Claims Manager & Claims Performance & Operations Team to identify and enhance the quality and value of processes for your area of work

What You Need:

• Over 4 years’ experience in the Claims market
• Claims experience for Energy and Property is essential.
• Must understand the claims process and its complexities and variations from first advice to final settlement
• ACII or similar professional qualification (desirable)
• Excellent knowledge of ECF2, CLASS, MS Office, Large Loss Claims Systems
• Be willing to travel
