Here at Arthur, we are delighted to be partnered with a highly successful and growing MGA who are looking to hire a Claims Technician within their London Claims team on a 12-month FTC with the potential to turn into a permanent role.
 
You will be responsible for supporting the business in its daily claims management operations, which entail administering claims and ensuring a seamless and efficient end-to-end claims process in accordance with established procedures and service standards.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of claims administration efficiently and professionally
  • Fulfilling the role of a Binding Authority broker as part of the duties
  • Ensuring adherence to internal procedures and authorization levels for processing company claims messages
  • Overseeing the preparation of the businesses claims bordereaux and addressing associated queries
  • Coordinating with the finance team regarding claims payments
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve claims-related matters
  • Serving as a company representative and providing technical support on claims issues when required

What You Need:

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in General Insurance/Reinsurance claims, ideally within the London Market, with familiarity with London market systems
  • Knowledge of both London and international insurance/reinsurance dynamics
  • Proficiency in essential computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
  • Able to learn and take on new tasks quickly and use own initiative to explore possibilities before raising queries
  • Can demonstrate the ability to work in a busy office environment, prioritise and organise workloads in order to meet deadlines
