Arthur are proud to be partnering again with one of our longstanding clients who are one of the worlds largest global brokers as through their continued success they continue to grow at a rapid rate, with over 400 associates across 17 global locations, they are now looking for a Reinsurance Client Service Advocate to join their expanding Treaty portfolio. The success individual for this role will need to have proven experience working on Excess of Loss claims, preferably within the London market, however, individuals with this experience looking to move into the London market will also be considered.
This role involves multi-disciplined technical processing within the company, focusing on Broker Support, handling Proportional and Non-Proportional accounts, Excess of Loss claims, and overall client servicing.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Processing: Handle premium, pro-rata, and Excess of Loss claims for various business classes
Broker Support: Maintain account statistics, provide support for client servicing, and use electronic methods throughout the process
Claims Management: Negotiate claims from initial notice to settlement and closure, including XOL reinsurance and binders
Client Interaction: Build relationships with clients and reinsurers, identifying their needs and ensuring satisfaction
Team Collaboration: Work independently and with colleagues to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Candidate Profile:
Prior reinsurance experience in Client Services, especially in claims processing (proportional, excess of loss)
Knowledge of tools like Salesforce and Open TWINS is a plus
Experience in reinsurance claims, particularly with large corporate clients
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to resolve complex issues
In-depth understanding of systems like IMR, CLASS, ECF, LORS
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
