Arthur are working with a reputable broker that are looking to enhance their Compliance output by adding a Compliance Analyst to their team.
 
The successful candidate will assist the compliance team in delivering, maintaining and helping the business to remain compliant within the given frameworks. 

The role will also cover the oversight of the global Insurance Services entities acting as a group oversight function.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 

  • Assisting with the implementation and monitoring of the compliance monitoring plan.
  • Supporting the Compliance Director and team with all acquired businesses within Insurance Services Compliance.
  • Undertake due diligence, review policies and procedures and assist with the updating of group internal policies and procedures.
  • Making applications on the FCA’s Connect system and assisting with the administration of the regulatory RMAR reporting.
  • Assisting the compliance team to undertaking relevant due diligence on new clients and undertake compliance monitoring visits.
  • Assist with preparing board reports and group compliance board meetings, Group Risk & Governance Board; Review Insurer audit reports and draw recommended remedial actions.
  • Understand the IDD requirements and ensure all who fall in scope adhere to this important requirement.
  • To work closely with the FCA, FOS, Lloyd of London, PRA, FSCS, CII and other appropriate organisations such as BIBA, particularly spending time reviewing publications.
  • To be effective in reviewing and developing new oversight controls as regulation changes.

 
 
Skills & Experience Required

  • 2 years' work experience preferably in a compliance function within Insurance.
  • Experience working in an ever changing, fast-paced working environment, whilst displaying excellent organisational skills.
  • Impeccable communication skills and a real team player.
  • Possess a willingness to work towards any relevant qualifications (if not already obtained).
