Arthur is working with a Lloyds syndicate that are currently looking for a Compliance Analyst to increase the headcount of their team. The successful candidate will be carrying out regular compliance tasks and should have good exposure to sanctions screening and duties
This opportunity would be perfect for someone with prior compliance experience within the Lloyds market to further expand their skillset within a high performing Lloyds Syndicate.
Key Responsibilities
Sanctions screening – reviewing matches and, where necessary, escalating results.
Carrying out sanctions enquiries, including assisting with referrals from Underwriting / Claims.
Reviewing and analysing regular exception reports, querying relevant transactions and escalating as appropriate.
Maintaining register and central records, assisting with all anti-bribery approvals.
Lloyds licensing – responding to referrals from Underwriting / Claims.
Conduct risk exposure – maintaining register, alongside reporting and conducting fair value assessments.
Handling complaints– especially liaising with internal and external parties.
Conducting Broker approvals - due diligence and assisting with drafting of TOBAs.
Monitoring regulatory communications and deadlines and ensuring that these are properly communicated to affected staff.
Requirements
Previous experience in sanctions screening and/or financial crime duties.
Lloyds experience would be advantageous.
Good comprehension of PRA and FCA rules, standards, and expectations.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Able to display initiative and take ownership of situations.
Working well in a team and building strong relationships with colleagues.
Impeccable organisational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities sometimes under hard deadlines.
Asking for assistance/seeking advice where necessary/appropriate.
