The role
Reporting to the Head of UK Compliance, the role represents an exciting opportunity to become involved in all aspect of Compliance teams’ group-wide activities
Reviewing regulatory and commercial developments,providing updates to the team.
Manage associated regulatory change requirements.
Performance of second line Compliance Monitoring activities and compiling the quarterly Compliance Monitoring report.
Responsibility for Senior Managers compliance, including drafting new applications, completing annual reviews and maintaining the FCA Directory.
Dealing with sanctions queries
Liaising with local counsel to complete renewal of international licenses and new applications.
Essential skills
Compliance experience in the London Insurance market.
Knowledge of sanction regimes and international licensing.
Strong written and spoken communication skills to enable communication at all levels.
Strong analytical, research and reporting skills.
Ability to handle a varied workload and competing priorities.
