financial crime and sanctions
supporting the business to meet its regulatory obligations to the PRA, FCA and Lloyd’s and regulators of our overseas offices.
supporting the roll out of new regulatory initiatives
general compliance advisory.
Responsibilities
To work as part of the Compliance team on compliance advisory and assurance matters. Monitor sanctions developments and their application to the business and providing advice to the business on specific sanctions issues and referrals
To understand and articulate how to practically apply PRA, FCA and Lloyd’s regulations and support compliance with regulations applicable to our overseas offices
Maintain existing procedures and monitoring compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards
Working on regular reporting liaison such as:
Lloyd’s Principles and other Lloyd’s reporting
Complaints reporting and contextualisation
PRA / FCA Reviews
Lloyd’s thematic and other reviews
Board, Executive Committee and Risk and Compliance Committee reporting.
Retail Mediation Activities Return
To take a proactive approach to compliance risk management across our business and to identify, assess, monitor and report on the compliance risk exposures and relevant controls
Integrate into projects to provide value add advisory and compliance assurance services
Pro-actively identify any areas requiring closer monitoring and help to design improvements to processes where needed
Experience
Previous experience of operating in a Compliance team within Insurance is essential and experience in a Lloyd’s Managing Agent is preferred.
