Arthur are pleased to be working with an established Lloyd's Managing Agent as they look to add a Compliance Manager to their team.

 
As this is an advisory position, you will be dynamic and knowledgable, using all relevant experience and skills to provide effective and prompt compliance advice to all business stakeholders and to governing bodies.

Reporting into the Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for the following:
 
 
Main Duties

  • Carrying out Horizon Scanning to detect risks at the earliest possible stage.
  • Supplying the business with regulatory advice across a range of subject areas, based on relevant jurisdictional regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting the Head of Compliance with the implementation of the Compliance Plan and the overall management of the Compliance function.
  • Aiding with the drafting of the annual Compliance Plan
  • Overseeing and ensuring all mandatory and ad hoc Compliance training is up-to-date and completed.
  • Responding to all questions, referrals and information requests from all stakeholders in a prompt and accurate manner.
  • Putting together of Regulatory returns.
  • Helping with preparation in the event of regulatory inspections and information requests

About You

  • Line management experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (preferably Lloyd’s, FCA, PRA, CBI ad BMA)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
  • Experience in a Lloyd's Managing Agent would be ideal
  • Concise and impeccable report writing skills
