Arthur are pleased to be working with an established Lloyd's Managing Agent as they look to add a Compliance Manager to their team.
Reporting into the Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for the following:
Main Duties
- Carrying out Horizon Scanning to detect risks at the earliest possible stage.
- Supplying the business with regulatory advice across a range of subject areas, based on relevant jurisdictional regulatory requirements.
- Assisting the Head of Compliance with the implementation of the Compliance Plan and the overall management of the Compliance function.
- Aiding with the drafting of the annual Compliance Plan
- Overseeing and ensuring all mandatory and ad hoc Compliance training is up-to-date and completed.
- Responding to all questions, referrals and information requests from all stakeholders in a prompt and accurate manner.
- Putting together of Regulatory returns.
- Helping with preparation in the event of regulatory inspections and information requests
About You
- Line management experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (preferably Lloyd’s, FCA, PRA, CBI ad BMA)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
- Experience in a Lloyd's Managing Agent would be ideal
- Concise and impeccable report writing skills
