Arthur are pleased to be working with a leading insurance broker as they seek a Compliance Manager to join their team.
You will be responsible for liaising with the wider compliance team regarding conduct risk, compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting as well as the following key duties:
Guaranteeing that existing policies have adequate clarity across the business, and adding value to the process of improvement.
Staying on top of all regulatory updates from all relevant bodies (FCA, PRA, Lloyd's, BIBA etc.), scrutinising these developments and providing concise summaries to all appropriate stakeholders.
Producing and maintaining Business Timetables, ensuring that regulatory reporting deadlines are met in accordance within the appropriate timeframe.
Helping with the structure and implementation of compliance training and educational programs.
Making sure that compliance policies are kept up to date and that revisions are distributed across the business swiftly.
About you:
Previous experience of undertaking a similar role within the insurance industry.
Familiarity with delegated authority procedures and an understanding of Lloyd’s processes is advantageous.
Proven track record in working with the business to implement regulatory improvement and change.
Understanding of other relevant legislation such as GDPR, consumer duty and financial crime would be desirable
Degree-level education, and/or relevant compliance or insurance qualifications are a bonus.
