Arthur Recruitment are currently on a 4 year growth strategy to scale the business from 36 consultants to 86 by 2026, with a major focus on expanding our contract book. As a consequence, the role of a Compliance Lead will be pivotal to this and will be looked at to set up the Arthur compliance best practice framework and strategy moving forward. Involving an initial audit review of the ethics and compliance maturity framework, getting the foundations and processes implemented, ensuring the consultants are then engaged, bought in and maintaining this process as the business scales. Responsibilities:
Build, develop and design compliance framework across the entirety of the business with a UK focus.
Understand and take lead on all IR35 matters and manage our third party provider Qdos.
Be the main point of contact for all Contractors and assist them with any queries.
Reviewing client contracts and checking for legalities, and to ensure up to date with the UK legal framework. Ensure contracts are signed and stored in CRM, with reminders of renewals and reviews documented.
Ensuring consistency across all contracts with Umbrella Companies.
Processing contractors through RSM In Time; ensuring all information is saved onto Bullhorn and timesheets and pay details are set up and managed correctly.
Approving all placements on our CRM once compliance has been completed.
Being the main point of contact with Accounts regarding contractor payments & set up.
Responsible for responding to Client Supplier requests and assisting with bids and tenders.
Work with marketing manager to ensure compliance within certain requirements such as DE&I.
APSCO legal reference point. Create a USP offering of being able to state that everyone we represent have already been checked and passed.
Working with the DPO to ensure Arthur is compliant with Data privacy, data protection and GDPR.
Ensure Arthur are meeting code of conduct regulations and that all internal policies are written and up to date.

Entrepreunial - We need this individual to have the capabilities to grow with a business who uses technology as a disruptor.
Must be able to build right behaviours across the business to ensure compliance is embedded.
Have an understanding of the main legal issues when reviewing contracts and be able to confidently understand any additions or changes that can be made.
Good understanding of IR35 and the different types of contractors and methods of assignments.
To be able to manage a team as this function grows with the business.
Helpful to have been part of a growth and exit event
Previous experience of creating a ‘best in class’ compliance function within a sales or recruitment environment
