This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected managing agency in a pivotal Delegated Authority position. You will play a central role in managing and overseeing delegated agreements across a variety of arrangements, working closely with underwriters, brokers and external partners to ensure high standards of governance, compliance and operational excellence.
As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you will gain exposure to every stage of the delegated authority lifecycle, from onboarding to audit and renewal. Key responsibilities:
Coordinating due diligence and audit processes for coverholders, lineslips, consortia, quota share treaties and delegated claims administrator agreements
Preparing renewal documentation, contract risk assessments, reports and committee papers
Acting as a key contact for stakeholders including brokers, coverholders, DCAs, auditors and underwriters
Reviewing audit reports, following up recommendations and ensuring timely resolution of open items
Monitoring delegated arrangements from application to renewal, maintaining oversight and compliance with regulatory requirements
Producing governance reports for senior stakeholders, including key performance metrics
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delegated authority oversight
Skills and experience:
Strong understanding of delegated authority processes and Lloyd’s/FCA/PRA requirements
Experience in due diligence and audit coordination within the London market
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency with Lloyd’s systems such as ATLAS, DCOM, DAM and Crystal is advantageous
