This role is for an experienced data architect with a primary focus on the development and maintenance of the future state data architecture ensuring it’s aligned with business needs and technological considerations. You’ll research emerging trends and advise upon their timely implementation; engage with our stakeholders and the specialist functions to ensure that stack architecture remains optimal; engage with vendors to assess new technologies and assist with areas such as governance and analytics.
Experience of defining & implementing large scale enterprise data architecture (with a global remit)
Proven and demonstratable knowledge of defining & implementing modern data engineering stack
Experience of defining a reference data architecture/ blueprint to leverage AI/ ML at scale
Experience implementing master data management approaches and tooling
Detail understanding of data management, data governance & regulatory impact on data architecture
A minimum of 3+ years within an engineering discipline
Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain future state data & analytics architecture aligned to business needs & technology considerations
Analyse emerging data analytics & engineering trends, providing meaningful insights & advice on their timely implementation
Coordinate with data, architecture & technology teams to ensure LDH architecture & engineering stack is aligned to enterprise data strategy, architecture & standards
Lead data & analytics architecture & represent it in architecture governance forums for approval
