A Lloyds Insurer are looking for a Data Governance Analyst to join the team and ensure data records are accurate, complete and understood within the organisation across all systems group wide as well as ensuring robust governance frameworks are in place.
Responsibilities of the Data Governance Analyst:
Take proactive measures to validate and ensure the accuracy of all critical data points for utilization in reporting and downstream feeds.
Conduct comprehensive investigations into any anomalies, promptly reporting and resolving them as required.
Establish and maintain a robust governance framework, including thorough reconciliations from source to target across all data and feeds.
Generate reports on key metrics and offer analysis of any thematic issues and concerns.
Engage in horizon scanning to identify opportunities for enhancing the data estate and bolstering the business's capability.
Assume proactive ownership for self-development and ongoing professional growth.
Essential skills of the Data Governance Analyst:
Excellent communication skills and adeptness in cultivating and managing relationships with key stakeholders, fostering trust and credibility.
Solid background within the insurance sector.
Experience within Lloyd’s is highly desirable.
Capacity to assess all downstream impacts of data quality issues and concerns.
Proficient in data literacy with a fervent dedication to reliability and accuracy.
Capable of working autonomously for periods while maintaining responsibility and accountability.
Demonstrates diligence and resilience in their work ethic.
Approachable, supportive, and inclined towards collaboration.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum Location: London EC3A/WFH Hybrid Start Date: ASAP, considering up to 3 month notice periods
